We, Yakukensha, play a role in assisting total life science research. Our business offices are located in Chiba, Tokyo and Kanagawa, and we serve many of customers such as universities, research institutes, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in these nearby areas. What we distribute to these customers are not only high purity reagents, diagnostic drug products, research equipment and analytical instruments but also immunoassays and related reagent products for cell analysis which are manufactured and supplied by major leading suppliers in Japan and foreign countries. This is the last but not least, latest information about technology and products is indispensable to keep their research advanced. We continue to provide our customers with the information in a swift way and try to meet their requests and needs.

Environmental initiatives
We, Yakukensha have been working on the international certification of environmental management system (ISO14001:2004) , and recieved certifications on December 21, 2006.
Furthermore, we have been aiming at further progress and improvement, we received the latest certifications, ISO14001:2015, on August 21, 2017.
Environmental Policy
Waken Group develop our business with a full awareness of the effects of our business like sales of reagents and related equipment, service and the associated activities, of the local and global environment. In the place of Kyoto Protocol, we have established the environmental policy as following with the aim of preserving rich natural global environment into the future.
- Waken Group establish an environmental management system to participate in environmental preservation, and strive to continuously improve the system by regularly reviewing how it is operated.
- We comply with legal regulations and other environmental requirements to which we agree.
- We consider the environmental effect of various activities, set and review environmental objectives and goals to improve our environmental performance.
- We thoroughly reduce and separate waste, and promote recycling.
- We strive to develop products that reduce waste.
- We actively participate in tree-planting or clean-up activities in the local community.
- We promote environmental education and publicize environmental information in order to thoroughly improve environmental awareness among personnel.
